Bamus Sets Important Agendas Until the End of 2025

Jakarta City Council's Consultative Body (Bamus) and the executive held a meeting to determine several important agendas for September to December 2025 period.

There are no activities allowed outside Bamus

The agenda set included the Plenary Meeting for the Closing of Session Period III of the 2024–2025 Session Year as well as the Opening of Session Period I and Recess Period IV of the 2025–2026 Session Year of the Jakarta City Council for the 2025 Fiscal Year.

The Bamus also set a schedule for discussing the 2026 Fiscal Year Regional Budget Draft Regulation, working visits by council supporting bodies (AKD), and the implementation of the supervisory function for regional legal products from September to December 2025.

The meeting also agreed on the schedule for Recess IV, technical guidance for City Council leaders and members for the October–December 2025 period, and discussion of the Draft Regional Regulation (Raperda) regarding the legal status change of PAM Jaya to a Limited Liability Company (Perseroda). The schedule for the 2026 Jakarta City Council Work Plan, year-end press conferences, and the Honorary Board Awards ceremony were also set.

Chairman of Jakarta City Council's Bamus, Khoirudin, said this meeting discussed all council activities for the last four months of 2025.

"We discussed the schedule for all activities from September to December. Everything went smoothly because there was plenty of time," he said, Wednesday (8/27).

Khoirudin emphasized that all agreed agendas must be carried out according to schedule.

"There are no activities allowed outside Bamus," he stressed.

He also asked council members to maximize budget and program discussions with work partners in each commission.

"Please discuss this with all partners thoroughly. I hope the discussion will take place during working hours only," he stated.
